*NSYNC is a boy band that consisted of five people and was one of the most successful pop groups of the late ’90s and early 2000s. According to IMDb, *NSYNC has influenced Kelsea Ballerini, Selena Gomez and Meghan Trainor. Madeline Boardman, who is an editor, said, “The group has a spot in pop history more than a decade later.” I believe that Boardman was not wrong because this is one of my favorite pop albums from that decade.
“No Strings Attached” was *NSYNC’s third album. It was released on March 21, 2000. The album debuted on the US Billboard 200 chart. It sold 2.4 million copies during the first week, which set the record for one week sales in the United States. “No strings Attached” was one of the best selling albums of the 2000. The top songs on the album are “Bye Bye Bye,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” and “Space Cowboy.”
“No Strings Attached” is my favorite pop album. The album really showcased *NSYNC’s talent and vocals. Some of my favorite songs on the album are “No Strings Attached,” “Bye Bye Bye,” and “It Makes Me Ill.” JC’s vocals in “No Strings Attached” is what made me like the song. The beats and tune in “Bye Bye Bye” are one of my favorite dance tunes. “It Makes Me Ill” has R&B elements that immediately grabbed my attention.
I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys 2000’s teen pop. I would rate the album an 8 out of 10.
