With the final entry in the Venom trilogy, Venom The Last Dance follows Venom and Eddie Brock, both portrayed by the talented Tom Hardy, as they are hunted by both the government trying to capture them and Xenophages, sent by Venom’s creator Knull, who is trying to kill them.
Although the movie could be enjoyable for some general movie goers, this movie is quite disappointing when it comes to having a good story and concluding the Venom storyline. Even though a good handful of the movie follows Eddie and Venom, other parts of the movie get interrupted with boring side characters who barely benefit the movie in any way.
Another problem with this movie is the humor. While there were some funny jokes here and there, most of the jokes are more the less annoying and not funny. There are also multiple scenes in this movie that feel unnecessary and are only there to stretch out the runtime and force some unnecessary comedy into the movie.
The main problem this movie has is the wasted potential. This movie introduces more variations of symbiote and the God of Symbiotes. This movie had a lot of really cool ideas, but they don’t really use them fairly.
Overall, although the movie has some entertaining action and some nice moments between Eddie and Venom, it is a major let down for fans and audiences.
