Junior William Lin said that his favorite part of going to tournaments is to compete against other teams
“My favorite part of going to tournaments is getting to compete, and show off their hard work,” Lin said. He said it takes more than a month to design, build and program a robot.
With all teams winning awards in EL Reno, this gives them all the opportunity compete in the state tournament.
Junior Ethan Holmes said that his favorite part about robotics is the team aspect.
“My favorite part of robotics and going to state is being on a team and hanging out and getting to know them while we’re not competing,” he said.
William also said that they are always looking for new members and that robotics is not just using computers.
“A lot of people think that robotics is just sitting at a computer, and there is actually way more to it,” he said. “Although it’s hard, its way more fun than people believe.
