After years of extremely negative reviews due to bad games, the creators of Call of Duty listened to their player base and released Black Ops 6. I think the game is amazing with its new Omni-Movement, the return of a round based zombies, as well as a much more streamlined loadout system compared to the previous game.

I personally have not finished the campaign, but the story is nice with plenty of plot twists, even early in the game as well as great combat interactions with plenty of ways to defeat the enemy. It also has a great way to unlock buffs that stick with you through the entire game and replays that’ll help make the game slightly easier, even in harder missions.

The zombies gamemode has been highly regarded as one of the best zombies in years. The map Liberty Falls has become one of the most popular maps in years, competing with extremely popular maps from old games such as Origins, Transit and Kino Der Toten.

The only problem I’ve had with the game so far is the multiplayer. While it’s extremely fun, some of the maps are too large for 12 players. I can go one match on a normal sized map with 30+ kills, then the next with 10 because I can’t find anyone around the map. Besides the maps, the multiplayer is enjoyable with the weapons being easy to control and the Omni-Movement making combat interactions a lot more interesting than they have ever been.

If you’re looking for a new game to play and have money to spare, then I’d recommend Black Ops 6. It is extremely enjoyable with or without friends and provides a great range of content with the different zombies maps and all the multiplayer gamemodes as well as replayability with the campaign.
