Reporter Timber Essary gives us a thorough review of Fearless by Lauren Roberts, her most recent read.

Fearless was a very highly anticipated book for 2025 and it did not disappoint. This book is the third and final book of the Powerless trilogy by Lauren Roberts. 

Roberts is an outstanding author that uses her words to easily paint a picture of a fantasy dystopian world filled with challenges and plenty of romance. This book was the perfect end to the trilogy because it pieced the story together and answered any remaining questions. There are many plot twists to keep the reader engaged and lots of good tension and banter between the main characters, Paedyn Gray and Malakai Azer. 

This book started by explaining the cliff hanger that Roberts left us with at the end of the second book, Reckless. Roberts even added in a new character’s perspective to help her readers understand how the characters got to where they are now. This author never disappoints in her writing and is only at the beginning of her career with the Powerless trilogy being the first series she has ever published. 

It is bittersweet to see this trilogy come to an end because of how special and well rounded she made these characters and this romantasy world she created. Every time I read a book from this series I am able to step into her writing and escape the real world around me. She gave us an ending that made all three books worth reading and I would highly recommend this book and the whole series. Overall, I give Fearless by Lauren Roberts 5/5 stars.
