Sports reporter Sallie Hasenmyer talked to a few of the Pioneer Football seniors about their high school football careers and to ask them about their favorite memories.
Jackson Holland
Q: What is your favorite memory from football?
A: My favorite memory is probably celebrating in the locker room after beating Choctaw in the semis my junior year.
Q: What will you miss most about Football?
A: I’m gonna miss the good times I had with my teammates after every game and all the talks we had during practice or in the locker room.
Q: If you could tell your freshman self one thing what would it be?
A: I would tell my freshman self to work hard and not take the upcoming years for granted.
Q: What is one thing football has taught you?
A: Football has taught me true commitment and how to work hard.

A: Attend OSU.
Keaton Mason
Q: What is your favorite memory from football?
A: Beating Union.
Q: What will you miss most about football?
A: Being with my friends all the time.
Q: If you could tell your freshman self one thing what would it be?
A: To enjoy it.

A: How to be dedicated to something.

A: To own my own HVAC company.

A: My favorite memory from football is winning the state championship.

A: I will miss playing with my teammates the most.

A: I would tell my freshman self to enjoy football while I can because it is going to be over before you know it.

A: Football has taught me how to work with a group of people to achieve a common goal.

A: The State game.

A: My favorite memory so far is winning the 6A-2 state championship in 2022.

A: Hanging around and playing the sport I love with some my best friends every day.

A: Try your best to stay healthy.

A: No matter the situation and how hard you try, you can only control what you can control.

A: I plan on playing football in college while studying business and psychology.
