Former Pioneer News anchor Misty Mouse has been enjoying her retirement from the show recently and is excited to pursue other ventures.

Misty appeared in Spring Pioneer News episode 8 in the 24-25 school year and was even featured in the credits of the final episode under the “Special Thanks.”

“Unfortunately, I do not have any plans to work with Pioneer News in the future,” Misty said. “While it was fun to work with everyone to make that glorious episode, I do not want to go to school full-time yet since I am only 4.” 

In a reflection, Misty stated that her decision to leave was not influenced by her coworkers or the workplace in the slightest and had a positive experience working with everyone on the Pioneer News team.

“I would have to say that the best part about working with the Pioneer News team was how excited everyone was,” she said. “I felt like the light of the party.” 

Despite the success of the episode and the popularity Misty gained from her role, she decided to retire from acting and work on her life outside the screen in the meantime.

“I think I did quite well,” Misty said. “After the episode aired, I was getting recognized as ‘The mouse from Pioneer News.’ Being recognized for something I put lots of effort into made my entire year.”
