The Tech Theater class has been working hard this year to put on all the performances in the Performing Arts Center. The class teaches lights, how to work a sound system, and how to stream performances online.
Tech Theater teacher Steve Shanks said he is beyond proud of his students for learning and adapting to all of difficult challenges expected of them.
“The students also learn to interact with the public and talk to people,” Shanks said. Without them you would not have any events.”
Senior Chloe Williamson has been involved in Tech Theater for almost five semesters and is experienced in all the tasks they take on.
“Because of Mr. Shanks’ cross training, I know how to do many things, but I mostly work the soundboard and microphones,” Williamson said. “My favorite part of it is hanging out with the people in the class because we work well together and are like a tight knit family.”
