A sophomore recently won 5th place at the World Dressage Championship, a competition where you ride horses and show against other contestants.
Francis Campbell grew up around horses and has been showing horses for about six years. She plans on continuing competing, one of the reasons being she gets to meet a lot of people.
“I’ve met a lot of people, like from Hawaii,” Campbell said.
In school, Campbell is an outgoing student, according to English Meredith Barney.
“Francis is an outgoing student, and she is wonderful artist,” Barney said.
Campbell’s sister, Della Campbell, attends the competitions and said she thinks highly of her sister.
“I think they’re pretty cool,” Della Campbell said.
