A new coach and a new season means new goals for the team. Senior Khalia Moore has been on the team since her freshman year and said she is looking forward to starting the season.
“I expect us to win way more games and to be more aggressive than we were last year,” Moore said. “And the team has been getting along.”
Moore has hopes and goals for herself going into her senior season. Moore has a set accomplishment for her team and wants them to get to it.
“I want to keep being a leader for my team,” Moore said “Do what I can for us to win our games, make sure we’re aggressive and not be scared if they are more athletic than us, just not having a defeated mindset.”
Junior Chloe Henderson said she is expecting good things from this season. Henderson hopes to become a leader for the team and wants the team to come together more.
“I’m excited.” Henderson said. “We’ve been doing some good things, so I think it will be good.”
