Lights, camera, action! Prom 2026 is right around the corner, and this year’s theme is Hollywood Red Carpet.

Prom will be held at the OSU Alumni Center from 8:30 to 11:00 p.m. Junior Class sponsor and guidance counselor Ms. Morton said the Junior Class starts planning in September. They had a meeting once a month to decide the theme, royalty items and decorations.

“It’s been a lot of fun,” Morton said.

Junior Class Officer Casen Schaefer said the team came together with recommendations from a senior class poll, and they decided on the a Hollywood theme.

“We spent a lot of our money to make this the best prom we could (make it),” Schaefer said.

Junior Vice President April Qiao said they will be serving water, cupcakes and other desserts at prom. She said people should go to prom because it will be a fun experience.

“It’s going to be so lit,” Qiao said.

Students are required to bring their student ID, but they don’t need to wear it.
