Finals are here and students can easily get stressed about them. SHS teachers gave a few tips for being successful during finals.
First off, always start your day with a good breakfast. High protein in the morning is key, and make sure you move your body. You don’t have to do a full workout, but at least stretch or take a short walk. This helps your brain function better and retain information.
Next, get plenty of sleep and disconnect from your phone. Try studying in chunks: focus on one subject for a bit, take a break and then move on to another. This way, you won’t get overwhelmed.
Last, sometimes studying at home can be distracting. Head to a local coffee shop or a quiet café. It can make a big difference in how much you get done.
