Nineteen Stillwater students in the leadership class put together the annual Veterans Day Assembly.
Leadership class teacher Ethan Kyle took on this project for the first year and plans to make it a tradition.
“There were people in there who served our country and put their life on the line,” Kyle said. “We got some good feedback but I also know how we could make it better. So that side of me is looking forward to next year.”
Leadership student Junior Collier Little worked with his class to make the assembly the best they could.
“I was with a group of people that helped get the word out by making things such as posters,” Little said. “It is important to show the veterans that we care about what they did and how they helped our country.”
Sophomore Taylor Moyer watched the Veterans Assembly from the audience getting a different perspective.
“I think that it is good that the leadership students have the opportunity to take responsibility and lead our school,” Moyer said. “I believe they executed the assembly well and delivered a clear message and point.”
