Senior Adrin Ozment, also known as Peter Pioneer, made the big decision back in August to become the new Peter Pioneer.

Ozment says he really enjoys interacting and being in the atmosphere of fans.

“My favorite part is getting to take pictures and interact with fans of the Pioneers, and getting involved with sports,” he said.

Peter’s favorite events to attend are football games because of the atmosphere and getting to see all the fans.

“Football games, the atmosphere and energy is a lot of fun,” he said.

Senior wagon crew member Alyssa Thomas said she enjoys watching Peter Pioneer, who she said brings the school spirit everywhere he goes.

“He comes to a lot of games and is really hype bringing school spirit,” Thomas said.

Thomas is usually at the same events as Peter because they are both on Wagon Crew and involved members of the student body.

Head of Wagon Crew, Carolyn Walstad, says she loves being involved in all SHS activities and has been a part of Wagon Crew for 28 years. Walstad said she loves seeing the Wagon Crew be different every year and bring their own fun.

¨My favorite thing is seeing each year the senior class bring their own rowdy and leadership” Walstad said.
