The yearbook is more than just taking pictures, it is a student run class where dedicated members are assigned to different pages.
Teacher Kristin Janloo says that her favorite part of the yearbook is to work with the staff. Janloo also loves the part of creating something from absolutely nothing, and watching it all come together at once.
“Working with the students, and making something from nothing, watching their excitement grow, as we brainstorm and work together as a team to produce the greatest yearbook ever made,” Janloo said.
Junior yearbook staff Brady Holliday is working hard on completing his three pages, volleyball, cheer, and Pioneer News. Holliday was responsible for completing the Volleyball, Cheer and Pioneer News pages.
“I finished the Volleyball pages already, and the Cheer and Pioneer News page will go into next semester [with the new staff],” Holliday said.
Junior staff member Jack Hanson’s favorite part of the yearbook class is to sell ads in the morning with his friends. Hanson has sold $450 of ads for the yearbook.
“We get to go grab breakfast and raise money for the yearbook,” Hanson said.
