Stillwater Lady Pioneer softball had softball tryouts at Couch Park for the upcoming 2026 season.

The next big event for the softball team is boot camp in the summer. Current Sophomore Presley Reed said boot camp is a combination of a many workouts.

“It is a practice where we do stretching, throwing, throwing drills, hitting and fielding, running and working out all in the same day,” Reed said.

Incoming Senior Landen Warner is one of four seniors for the upcoming season.

“Bring leadership and help the freshman learn and grow as players,” Warner said about what the seniors do for the team.

Incoming Senior Jaelynn Wilhelm said there is a lot of preparation that happens in the summer for the next season.

“I prepare for the season by practice, travel ball and drills,” Wilhelm said.

Reed said there is a strong bond with the upcoming senior class.

“There is a really good connection with Landen and Jaelynn,” Reed said. “They want to win and play college softball, so I can learn a lot from them.”
